Weather?
Flying is an experience that can be enjoyed in almost any weather! We can’t always rely on forecasts to give us the best picture of what to expect! So, please be assured that with any of our experiences our highly trained pilots will be assessing the weather and will be notifying you with as much notice as we can.
Often weather that you wouldn’t expect to be great for flying can be the best! Overcast weather can create incredible visibility, sometimes allowing you to see the Isle of Wight and the London skyline shortly after take off! Our pilots are monitoring and assessing cloud base and cross wind amongst other contributing factors when making their decisions!

What to wear?
It’s very simple really! Dress for the weather! If it’s cold outside you will certainly benefit from a jumper and good thick socks. Alternatively, if it’s a beautiful summer’s day with blaring 25°C+ heat, a t-shirt may be perfect for you.
We do recommend that you don’t wear a thick jacket for your comfort but perhaps choose an additional jumper layer if you think you’ll be chilly.
Rubber soled sturdy shoes or trainers are the best option too, many open toed shoes, sandals or flip flops are not appropriate and your pilot may not be comfortable you wearing them for your experience.
Sunglasses are always a great shout too!
Where to meet us for your flight
You will find your experience hosts just to the side of SEMET Aviation. As you enter the car park at Blackbushe Airport, turn right and you will see a flag with ADV001 and Blackbushe Flying Experiences on it!
Make yourself known to your host of the day and they will be able to take your experience from there!
Timing
Please allow at least 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled experience time and make yourself known to our team. Due to a whole number of reasons there might be tight timings or delays on the day so your availability is paramount to the smooth running of the flight! We appreciate your help! But don’t worry, whilst you are waiting with us there is so much going on to watch and see; you may like to grab something tasty from the Pathfinder Cafe near by.
